Client: Tract & Touch
I supported the Artistic Director Yvon Bonenfant through a period of organisational development for his small arts charity Tract and Touch. Arts Councils Emergency Covid-19 funding supported this period of development.
My work involved looking at both merger and closure options for the charity and understanding what the legal processes involved were. I also managed the process of getting the organisation’s administrative and financial systems in order so that the process of closing or merging would run smoothly.
Through this work I have built up knowledge about the charity merger and closure process and what the financial ramifications are for small arts charities. I have also made very useful contacts in the charity law sector.
